WEST VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS
ADVOCATING FOR WEST VIRGINIA'S FUTURE
WHAT WE DO
The West Virginia Association of School Administrators (WVASA) and its members serve to support current and aspiring public school administrators in West Virginia at the state and county levels with public education legislation development and public education advocacy, along with professional networking, and professional development opportunities throughout the state.
The WVASA is seeking nominations for the 2020 WV Superintendent of the Year. The person chosen will represent our state in the 2020-2021 AASA National Competition. Also, our organization has added two awards to recognize outstanding performance and achievement by an individual administrator, other than a superintendent.
The West Virginia Association of School Administrators are seeking sponsors who would like to exhibit and/or underwrite a partial cost of our annual Summer Conference. WVASA is a statewide organization that has approximately 200 members consisting of:
county school superintendents
central office administrators
State Department administrators
retired school administrators
